In this tutorial, you will learn how to make glowing text effect. This tutorial is very simple and basic. For advance please don’t laugh me.
First create a new document. I use 700×250 pixel.

Create a text and colorize it.

Put a style on it like this or you can make better than this.

Create a new layer, top of the text, and create a radial gradient.

Duplicate the layer, lock the transparent and fill it with white..

Make it little smaller than layer 1. You can use free tarnsform, by pressing the alt and shift, it will scale it and just like that.

Merge the layer 1 and layer 1 copy.

Hold down the ctrl and click to the text and the click mask.
NOTE That you are working to the layer 1 before clicking the mask, after clicking the mask unlink it.

Apply the mask with maximum, filter>other>maximum

Apply the MASK with gaussian blur.

Merge the layer 1 and layer 1 copy

Hold down the ctrl and click to the text and the click mask
NOTE that you are working to the layer 1 before clicking the mask, after clicking the mask unlink it.
