Glowing Christmas Lights

Create a ‘Drawing’ Effect in Flash

This tutorial will show you how to create a smooth, frame-by-frame, “drawing” animation. Don’t let frame-by-frame scare you, this is really easy.

To practice this, start with a fairly simple piece of art. My animation in here has a little more detail with it, but you’ll honestly pick this up so fast that you’ll be doing more complex things than this one here. But, for the purpose of this tutorial, I will be working with this self-portrait I created.
